Ohhh that's nice Patti, seems like fences would be a little easier but it helps to have trees. LOL Besides.....what do you do with all those rocks you dig out of the fields ?? :) Luv the green.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
Just great Patti and it's nice to see a photo concentrating on those rock walls. The title is perfect with this shot. They must have built them while coming home from the pub. This sure leads the eyes to the beautiful countryside. Excellent post Patti.
Patti, I just saw this in the voting booth and had the feeling it was one of your amazing photos and sure enough! That's it...I'm moving! Beautiful composition in this one as well. Goodness. Saved. :) Teri
This is quite a beautiful shot Patti. Pitty about the floating branches on the top right hand corner of the shot. Get rid of them and this shot is a perfect 10.

Wonderful! This is an outstanding composition Patti, and I'm faving it immediately. There's so much of interest leading the eye on, all of course surpassed by that fabulous sinuous stone wall. And I like the way you decided to leave the two "stray" branches in at the top of the shot - in my humble opinion the right decision, as they "close off" the scene very nicely. Great work!
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
I love how you've composed this image with the stonewall in the foreground. Beautiful scenery as always, and I love the colours and lighting. Great capture Patti. :)
Hi Patti, I love the way the wall leads the viewer into the picture on this one. Another beauty, and such great clarity too, do you sharpen your images at all? If so, I know you use a 400D, do you use Canon's software or ps?
I was looking at this for ages this morning and didn't get chance to comment. You got the absolute best light in this and your next post, and the use of the wall is inspired. I'm a fan of your compositions anyway but this one feels so right it's scary. Go to the top of the class Miss Fogz.
I've become such a great fan of yours because you capture as much a feeling as you do an image. So peaceful and of course I love the English countryside.
Those hills in the background are so beautiful. I need to go visit the English countryside. The most beautiful shots that I've seen here at Caedes are taken there.
Love the title. It really fits. The winding stone wall is perfect. Leads us right into the image. Not sure I would have left the branch dangling in the top right.
Pat
Hey Patti. The composition is great, curve of the wall leading you up the hillside, colors great, sharpness great, view and distance great. If only those darn trees weren't in the middle! Good job though.
This is just awesome, Patti. The curving wall leads you by the hand right into this beautiful image. It's just plain gorgeous. And I like the trees in the middle. They add a bit more depth to the shot and naturally cover what appears to a brown area in the grass - leaving it all nice and green and pretty -
I can hardly find the right words. It is so picturesque it could be a subject of a great oil painting. Dreamy and quiet. Your talent keep working. Thank you for taking us on your walks in the country.

A marvelous postin and shot Patti ! that wall is meandering away indeed.
Your compostion is spot on. One meter left or right and it would be... great work.
Nice frame to !
Oh wow, I am really in love with that wall - I love beautiful walls shot in the best possible way - and I also like the rest of the picture a lot, of course.

Such beautiful lines, Patti. The stone walls are wonderfully built and you picked a really fine angle to draw us into the scene. We have a lot of stone walls here in NE and I guess those who built them learned from their UK ancestors.
