........Lyme Hall in Disley, Cheshire, one of the many mansions used in the BBC adaptation of Pride & Prejudice! ...the scene where Darcy emerged from the lake! If you click the link you can see a short video. The photograph was taken from the point where he dived into the lake.

Oh my friend....how very, very impressed I am with your marvelous imagery... with your sopsihisted visual impression of this magnificent structure...and.........

Together with the most interesting video....what a combination they make....I found it not only memorable...but most sincerely interesting...to be certain....;o)

Patti...this experience was not only enjoyable...but also reminded me of the quality...the quality....that really 'good' movies possess!! Very good photography Patti...beatuiful reflectivity and superb composition...I have really enjoyed viewing this 'photo'......

The video helped to blend your theme together well...a fine idea....I think that perhaps I will see the movie again.....you have peaked my curiosity....

What a great name, Disley. Your photos of these stately homes are really superb Patti, I love the cool colours and the way you always seem to manage to get them from such an imposing album. I read somewhere that Ansel Adams said the trick to getting a good photo was knowing where to stand to take it. You always seem to find the best place!

I LOVE that movie! That's amazing that it's near you! Sweetness. I can just see Elizabeth walking around enjoying the beautiful day, then Mr.Darcy pops up all wet. Aaah, the bliss of every one of Jane Austen's novels.
