......I went for a ride over the Derbyshire hills this evening ....there was an hour of daylight left and I had just seen the forecast for the weekend which was pretty bad with overcast skies and rain ....so I took advantage of the beautiful evening and drove to the open countryside - I had a lot of fun taking photos of the baby lambs and the sunsetting over the hills... only problem was I took a wrong road but as soon as I found the Cat & Fiddle Pub I was home and dry ....well nearly! lol! ;)

Oh what a surprise. Patti Fogz ends up in the pub. I like twilights but I try not to eat too many. Those little knobbly sticks are quite high in salt apparently. I like this shot too, very peaceful and rural. Nice use of that wall to lead in too. I can see you there now behind your tripod watching the sun disappear behind those hills.

It reminds me of the fine pictures one would have seen in the 50s and 60s in magazines like Life and/or Look. Your dof is excellent, as always, and your composition is simply beautiful.

Well, I hope that your forecasters are not as good as ours are. Rainy and overcast, they said, and rainy and overcast it is. Gives me time to get caught up with my friends' pics and admire the view you had.
