As soon as I saw the title Albert Docks I was here. This is a beauty Patti - what a calm day it must have been for such a reflection - it is superb.
The warm colours of the buildings against the pale sky are just great.
Will be saved to my computer for when I feel like a bit of nostalgia. Any more ? :)
Radical refelections really work!! Neat 'n' busy spot sista!! Cool capture!! Horizontal lines a wee askew, but ain't bad. Luv the frame works and font!!
It is indeed. Remember when Richard and Judy used to be broadcast from here? Doesn't that seem a long time ago. I've been there a couple of times and you've really captured the hustle and bustle of the place. Nice presentation too, it's picture postcard stuff.
Fine reflections indeed. I remember being here many years ago(when I was young)trying to drag in the GMTV weather map to get on it (Yes...we had been drinking LOL) Fine pic Patti and thanks for giving me the nostalgic smile.
What reflections these are Patti. I think had the sky been nice and blue it would have interferred with this great post. The sky reflections would have clashed. This is a great photo.
I do like the reflections in the water. Did you know that Cork was the previous 'City of Culture' (my home town) before handing the reigns over to Liverpool?
heheh is this where fred had his giant weather map and his knitted jumpers??! lol, another lovely view, the reflection is awesome, i kind of dont think its quite straight too though.
For me this image is 'back in time' as I visited in the past Liverpool many times. Thanks for this nostalgic and wonderful image Patti.
Regards, Cornelius
Ha ha! I thought you manipulated the colors in Photoshop at first! How odd! A really good find for a capture Patti and well done with the reflections and all. You're right, it is colorful on any day but maybe some blue in the skies might really make those colors pop? Still really like it though :)

And no mention that The Albert Dock is the biggest Grade I Listed building (or group of buildings) in Britain. Another great shot of "Across The Water" as we say on this side of the Mersey.
