...the woodland that runs alongside 'the Roaches'in the Peak District ...the weather was amazingly warm this weekend - in the 70s, so I managed to get out to one of my favourite spots. ...and the trees may appear to be crooked but they grow in all directions up the slope - this is where I found the 'turn to stone' rock just a bit further along the path. :)

Love the different color of green. It is spring and it does look alive. The lighting seems to give it life. Just a great photo Patti.

lol! Roaches??? I was expecting a manip of Owd Bob covered in roachie bugs or something! I can see why this is one of your favorite spots, it's very beautiful there and peaceful too I bet. A wonderful take of it Patti :)))

I've looked really hard but I can't see any roaches. Maybe you needed to turn over some of those stones?! Great shot Patti, I love the gentle greens and the lines in this.
