...and another view from the top of Mam Tor, Derbyshire, sometimes referred to as 'Shivering mountain' (as it is made of banded shales, it is prone to movement in the form of landslips) - and I was shivering when I reached the summit - beautiful sunny weather but it was very windy at the top today ....the view is looking in the opposite direction from the last photograph looking towards 'Rush-Up Hill'. Down on the far left you can see the car park where I left my car.

Almost as glorious as the other one. Hard to pick a favorite. What great views you have over there. You wanna see some of the Ohio flatlands? Boring.

You have made me feel as if I was on that mountaintop today. The view was great. It is a little chilly way up here. I didn't notice it until now. Think I will go find that pub. Nice posts Patti.

It makes me feel very small and insignificant, such a sweeping and grandiose landscape. This is beautifully composed too Patti, the summit and the valley are pretty much bang on the third points and create a lovely sense of balance.
