.....it's amazing what you find in the maze of little alleyways in the madina at Essaouira - if you peep through the slightly open doors here you can see an art gallery and shops selling the beautiful hand made goods.
I get the feeling there are some shady characters hiding down there, ready to mug tourists and take off with their Travelers Checks. LOL. Very nice, Patti.
Good photo and your earlier posts with the tunnel look framing got us ready for the real thing. Just an excellent shot. Feel like I am there. Very nice post Patti.
Patti, what a awesome shot.really looks old.looks like a place I could spend hrs looking and shopping and spend lots of $...Love it!! ...Thanks for sharing :) _______A

No committees were harmed in the making of my gallery. Please look Here
You're talking about the Madina, but think it could be the Souk as well Patti, because of the presence of shops.
Great capture anyhow, depicting perfectly the atmosphere there.

As mentioned above, I usually have lighting problems with these type of shots, at the end of the tunnels I usually get alot of glare. You did a great job with light, color, shadows.

I'd have to bow my head to walk down this place or get knocked out! You certainly got the sense of hidden places, although I'm not sure this trader has picked the best location!
