We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
I wish I knew more about geology than I do. Each of those stones tell a story about England and the times they have laid witness to. Wonderful shot, Patti.
heheh, wallpaper, i like it!! i took a shot like this at the viaduct, i love the textures and colours here, they always amaze me how they stay standing with nothing to stick the stones together.
Love it Patti. Such great colours and textures. You are about the same age as me, you must remember back in the late 60's and 70's you could buy rolls of wallpaper which mimicked stone walls for people who wanted an internal stonewall but couldn't afford a real one.

You are neither taxed nor fined if you look at My Gallery.
I really like this one, it captued my attention for sure!
I am watching this image for quite a while, and I analysed every stone :)) They are really interesting, because of the colors ad their form :) (Am I crazy?) No really, I like this image very much, and the title as well! Great texture!
I hate to bust your bubble Patti but it is Wallrock not paper. However paper cover rock and I don't have any scissors so I guess you win. Excellent post.

Too bad they couldn't setlle on one color, Patti. LOL Just kidding; the wall looks great! The pink rock reminds me of the quartzite that's mined around here. Good capture!
Still looking for that pot of gold under the rainbow from the previous posting i guess :-) lol no, it makes a good desktop image for sure Patti. A very nice pattern.
