....photograph taken today looking from Baslow Edge to Curbar Edge. The mixed weather is giving us some very photogenic skies! ...alone to enjoy the peace and quiet and amazing landscapes - give me a hill rather than a shopping centre any day! ;)

This view is just breathtaking. Between you and Bob, both of you can keep these coming. Great big sky and rolling hillsides always get me. Beautiful colors here and you have done wonderful job capturing that peacefulness.

My weakness is skies like this. Fabulous. I love the hills and all the rocks and brush. Very nice picture, Patti.

Now I see why there are so many rock walls in your part of the world Patti. I watched The Open today on the tube at Royal Birkdale. The sky was beautiful all day as is the sky in your post. Wonderful post.

Although the sanddunes along the coast are the only 'hills' we have in the part of my small country where I live, agree with you about shopping centres versus hills. Great view Patti. Thanks for this wonderful post.

A great feeling of distance and a beautiful image - and I agree with your sentiment - hills beat supermarkets any day :)

Exemplary Ms Fogz. Nothing flashy, nothing unusual, just the stunning Derbyshire landscape. The best things in life are the simplest aren't they. And as for the hill vs shopping centre debate I'm with you all the way. In fact I can't remember the last time I set foot in a shopping centre.....
