....looking from one Edge to the other ....the small dot on the cliff opposite is a person, which will give you some idea of the scale of the rockface! ...another shot from my peaceful and solitary walk along Baslow Edge on Sunday.

Such a beautiful view Patti. I have scanned the photo and I can't find the person anywhere. It must really be a small dot. I really like the colors and the composition. Good post.

Real pretty country, and a nice mix of greens holding out against the grey of the rocks! I think I see the dot your talking about, and if it is I see what you mean about the size! It must be huge! Definitely a 2-3 brewski walk! lol C):-)

Gorgeous country side, Patti. I think I found the person, but I may be wrong. Is he on the other big mountain above it looks like a small group of rocks/slide? Anyway this has such fabulous colours and clarity. Love the composition and the sky is amazing, WOW. Thanks for sharing such a gorgeous capture

What great names. Baslow, Curbar. It makes me think of whirling dervishes. Maybe the Derbyshire countryside was populated with them once. This landscape is so huge I can't see the dot on the cliff face! Love that sky and the brightly lit field towards the back of the frame, it makes you feel like you can see forever.

Beautifully composed - I like the inclusion of the building. The person looks like an ant - really gives an impression of the scope of this vista.
Lovely work :)

Beautiful landscape you have right in your own backyard. Everytime I see a piece like this, I feel like I don't belong here....but there. Very nice work once again.
