......sitting neatly alongside the Bridgewater Canal in Lymm, Cheshire ...what a peaceful setting. The swan, also featured in my last photograph is father to 7 signets! Just further along the canal, and out of sight, is the mother and the signets which are almost as big as their parents!

Patti, What catches my eye the most in this lovely image is the swan heading towards the bridge and the reflection of it. Wonderful image lady. sandi♥

Lost of things to look at in this shot. All nice, too. Greens, reds, blues, whites, textures, and reflections...all fantastic. Super nice, Patti.

I came accross this one on the voting booth... it's my today's favorite! Reminds me of those childhood drawings (a house, a bridge, some water, some green and so on), and I agree with Jimbob. And that reflection makes it even more interesting. :)

Patti this is so pretty and stunning! I have just shown this my husband to show him why I keep nagging about going on the canals lol. I used to go on canal holidays on the cheshire county canals years ago, and this picture is like a memory put on screen. Faved!

Beautiful!! You guys have a corner on the cute market over there. I love just about everything about this pic except the frame. Very nice color, very clear, nicely composed. The frame kind of distracts from it though.

I love these bridges when they reflect on the water and create a oval or circle. The signet just makes it better. Shots like this has made me look at the world with a different view. Nice post Patti.

Canal banks can be so picturesque Patti. I love the brickwork you find all the way round the canal system. It is such a gorgeous, mellow colour.

What a lovely dreamy image this is Patti. No-one does chocolate box England like you. Whenever I see lock-keepers' cottages like this I always feel slightly envious of the people who live there. I like the way you've bled the picture out into the frame on this too.
