Great looking shot Patti and are they waiting for the tide to come on or is it always dry there? Love the castle. A lot to look at in this one. Great post.
the castle is great. i LOVE the fact that you took this picture when the tide was very low. seeing the boats on the sand is unique. the little houses/hotels are so cute. you have managed excellent detail in this shot! it's such good composition through and through.
sorry if i don't comment on each of your pictures. to those of you who comment so often, i can't imagine how you get it done! i for one am always extremely grateful for the kind comments and suggestions that you make.

Lovely Patti, with the curving line of the seaweed in past the boats and the light falling on the row of bright houses. It's such an imposing position isn't it!
Beautiful image Patti. I love everything about it. The colors are great, the clarity is super and the tide is looooooowww. When you guys have low tide, you really have a low tide. Very nicely done.
I bet that castle was impenetrable back in the days of yore. What a beauty of a shot. I guess those houses don't have to worry about floods anytime soon, huh?

You are neither taxed nor fined if you look at My Gallery.
Big tide here ! the boats have stopped floating and are drying in the sun.
Overhere the tide does not drop that dramaticaly. Strange now i come to think of it.
