Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

Ah ! the tide has come up again ! Why go here again ? why not take another island like Gurnsey ? Would be fun to explore them all i'd figgure. Wasn't it strange to be on home ground UK, while the islands are nearer to France then to the UK :-)

Ah Patti, boats! Looks really good great colours and composition. I am off sailing again in October this time to Greece. Not sure i will be able to take the Nikon though will have to be something a bit smaller.
