.....parts of the hall date back to 1540. Wythenshawe Hall has recently been bought back to its former glory and restored for everyone to enjoy - parts of the hall are now open to the public. I walked around the hall - and loved to see the old four poster beds .... and the ghosties! lol!

It almost looks like stucco on the old Hall. I like the color combination and the angle you chose Patti. Nice post.

How much I like this type of building. They've got something magic, an atmosphere which makes people thinking to the past and the past is built up on the walls.

I just adore houses like this, think its the whole tudor timbering. So pretty. That link was very informative indeed, walking around a hall like this is my ideal way to spend a day. Wonderful shot.
