...I took some inspiration from Randy's (Hottrockin) recent photographs of antique flowers and used the settings in lightroom to create this antique look. Hope you like it.
THis realy is a good picture. Very clear on the little things they have a special name for, but I can't remember it :). You're a pro studiophotographer now with lightroom ;). enjoy it!

i like black and white/sepia toned flowers, they do look arty and antiquey (did i spell that right?) some nice detail going on here and i like the framing too.
A kitchen table, a black sweatshirt, and a flashlight works for me. Well, I take that back, it doesn't work that well. But it's all I can come up with at the present time. LOL. This is really nice, Patti. I love the antique look. Very well done.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
But, I’d like to say sumpin’ more about this special piece.
To me, THIS is what Caedes is all about!! Sharing and learning from each other!! I’ve learned sooo much from everyone here and always apply that when workin’ on my own stuff. Patti has been enjoyin’ what I’ve been doin’ and came up with a grand image of her own to play with and HAVE FUN with, like I did!!
Thanks Patti for the mention and for being open-minded and having fun…that’s what it’s all about; enjoyin’ the time, place and yourself!! Always watchin’, learning and sharing what you’ve came up with!!
I can’t wait to see another with this technique from you…I know ya got’s another, don’t’cha??
Again, a fantastical flora with a sense of old-world and leaves the viewers imagination open to its true colorations which holds the person just a second longer to contemplate the piece and meaning!!
Firstly, it is a really good image of a lovely flower. As Pierre says the focus is perfect. Secondly, your post-editing is really good. It gives a new perspective on an old subject.

The truth is, you really should see My Gallery.
I like Pierre's comment about the pistils - I learnt a new word! Like the effect on this Patti and, as Pierre says, the selective focus and softness. It's a different take on a foofy.
Working 'Lightroom' now, are we!...That one is for intelek...interllecti...int....brainy sods!... hehe!..
