I notice, on some of the buildings, a banner. Since there are so few, I wonder what they say. Like EJ, I also wonder how strong the civic organizations must be in Kasbah Taourirt, Ouarzazate, you can have any color for your house as long is it is clay. lol.

this looks typical morrocco, the colour seems the same colour as marrakech, the guy told us its the best colour for the heat, he did explain why, but i cant remember!! also the square holes everywhere are to allow for the wall to expand and contract in the sun. nice to see you back girl!! i hope you had a great time.

Well, I was actually able to sneak in here with a comment, although all the good ones are taken.
I wish I had half the chance you do of traveling. You should count yourself among the lucky to be able to be so close to all these wonderful places. I have a whole ocean (pond) to cross and American Security to go through.
