......the hill named Hen Cloud, so called as the hill viewed from below and from certain angles resembles a hen! .....oh to be free as a bird .....closest you get when you stand on top of a hill with the wind in your face and this beautiful countryside spreading out below you.

I think you described it better than I can Patti. The view is awesome. There was a scene in the movie Titanic where they were standing with arms spread. I can see someone doing that on Hen Cloud. Perhaps you were. Great view of your rugged, but beautiful country.

Oh Patti, if wishes were horses then beggars would ride on clouds of white satin.... You narrative made me think of that old poem by someone I probable should remember.

To be able to fly and look down and see earth's contours and beauty would be like having the opportunity to view one of your pictures.

I didn't care for the thumbnail (seemed too dark) but I downloaded it and THEN, the beauty of this image popped forth. What a view. Must be nice. Keep-pah!
