I thought this image might be more fitting for the contest, so have moved my Manchester Skyline to the landscape gallery. :)

I agree about this suiting the contest better Patti. I thought so before I read the narrative. Your eyes are definitely directed to the light through the negative space. Good entry and good luck.

We have, of course, to respect your decision to move the Manchester Skyline to another gallery, but in my honest opinion this image was a slightly better entry for the contest than this one. Don't misunderstand me, as this one is a very fine image though. Wish you anyhow a lot of succces with this one in the contest too Patti.

Regards, Cornelius.

I like this one better for the contest Patti. Love the lighting and how you are drawn through the negative to see the positive at the end. Beautiful piece of work.

Interesting idea Patti, I like the yellow light on the left hand side and the mannequin in the shop window through the arch. A bit too much darkness for it to be a great shot but a great idea for the comp entry.
