....this is the easy bit! ;) just follow the wall, go through the gate at the brow of the hill then go steeply uphill for about half a mile! I'll see you later - I'm off to the pub! lol! Staffordshire countryside - route leads up Hen Cloud (to the right) or up The Roaches (to the left).

Could you slow down. I am not nearly as young as you. This walk is not easy. It is beautiful and a lot to see, but not easy. I can't help but wonder what it being penned in or out. That strand of barb wire will keep me from riding the fence. Just another great post Patti.

This is nice, it would be better with me standing by the fence with a smoke in my mouth, coybow boots and duster on...kinda like the Marlboro Man or sumpin'!!

Great study of shadow, lighting and texture. It's got your usual strong compositional elements...that barbed wire over the stone wall is a nice subtle touch. Nice use of the rock in the bottom left to anchor the whole scene. Really nice and simple, just the way I like it!!

Barbed wire on the stone wall. Hmmmm. Is that to keep people out, or keep them in? LOL..Another nice hilly landscape scene. I like the soft clouds in the sky.

Light green separated from the dark green by the manmade fence! It appears as though the grass is greener on the otherside of the fense. Thus, there is hope for us all! Great picture, Patti.

The easy bit?!? What, off down the pub you mean? I like the sun shining through the gate and the shadows on the grass, it's very evocative of the low sun and special light of this time of year.
