Well, hope you don't mind me jumping in here, Patti ... getting some extra mileage out of this following tutorial (or two).
Here you go ... Tony Kuyper Photography - Tutorials.
In particular, the "Luminosity Masks" and that of the "Luminosity Painting" tutorials.
Beautiful quote and a good composition.
My intial thought was that perhaps the path could be toned down a tad? Hence, the suggested tutorials above.
That nonsense of mine aside, I like this one. Rich, deep colour ... a very welcomed sight in the Great White North's land of current ... er, lack of colours. :oP

One of my favourite quotes that Patti. I'm so sorry I've not had time to look through your gallery lately, I hope everything's going well for you. Looking at this makes me glad the spring's finally come and everything's bursting into life. I like the way the trees are standing in a kind of guard of honour - you got a great shot despite the grey sky.
