Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

Looks like a full house Fogz. I will see your two geese and raise you three mallards. Excellent shot and it is so clear. Great shot and editing. Perfect angle.

There's a wonderful sense of 'real' in this photo, I think because of the light on the water in the foreground, the ripples and the perfect focus on the geese. It's one of those timeless photos, a classic.

/\ Very concise, with accompanying screenshots from Photoshop CS3. Carrying on ...
Good good composition, wonderfully natural colours ... very pleasant to view.
The lone caveat, and not really a caveat per se ... more of a suggestion with respect to that of the sky. I do like the quality of light you captured, just feel, in my humble opinion of course ... some adjustments might elevate your photo here that lil' bit more. (See tutorial linked above.)

And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us. It's a good good shot. :o)
