Lens flare? what lens flare Les? put your sunglasses on Les! lol! Just kidding! ;) I decided to leave it as when I cloned it out, the image lost some of it's appeal! :)

Patti - A very pretty sun rise. The rather placid water is beautifully reflecting the rising sun. The backlit clouds still dark, the sky an early morning deep blue, land mass still dark - a great sight. As I look at the photo, I am finding the lens flare to be distracting from this gorgeous scene. Thad
Very nice sunrise photo, the sky, colors and reflections are very nice,it would have been better without the lens flare but it is very nice though,it must be a very nice region.
Yes it might be better without it but I think it's okay with it. I always have a hard time shooting into the sun.
I love the softness, gives me a very peaceful feeling.
The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
I hesitate in mentioning the lens flare, 'cause I am undecided.
Think/feel that if you were to 'remove' it ... something would be missing.
So ...
Had a think and took your image here in some more ... yeah, believe I would clone it out. Then, tighten things up some by cropping the bottom a tad.
/\ Just some creative food for thought.
Beautiful colour and am most impressed with your handling of the technical considerations.
Thanks for sharing this one with us ... and more importantly, I trust that my words here find all is well with you and yours. :o)
