And why are you anxious about what to wear? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin. And yet I say to you, that even Solomon in all his glory is not arrayed like one of these. - Matthew 6:28-29

Eileen - I dont know much about the type of flowers, but I can tell the artist had good taste. The bowl seems to be a Flo Blue pattern, a high priced and very collectable antique. The flowers look good too. You did a fine jog of photographing this picture. Do more please.

Hi Eileen! What a great still life you created here. This is also makes a neat desktop. I like the variety of colors in the bowl and the way there is a small bloom on the table. That is a very nice touch :) The marble the bowl is sitting on adds just the right amount of light exposure to this image. Well done. :))
thanks for the visit to ~forgotten~. This was tucked away on a side road and I asked hubby to back up and pull over so I could jump out and run down this road to get off a quick shot. I didn't explore this trestle though, it runs right across a huge lake and everything was so very grown up around the edges, that I didn't want to know what was in the weeds :)
Glad that you could enjoy this scene with me. Your continued support is deeply appreciated.

The flowers appear to be primulas (primroses). However, that doesn't detract from the beauty of the image. It is a fine composition and a delightful desktop.
