A Blue Monarch enjoying a Butterfly bush in my back yard. This was taken at quite a distance because I didn't want it to fly away so I hope I haven't cropped it too much. I just wanted to share with you what I thought at the time was a beautiful capture of nature. Thanks for stopping by- always appreciated.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Just got this one in the VB, and had to come and comment. I was surprized to see that it was a monarch, I have never seen a blue one. Fantastic post.
