This is one of the many truss bridges that lined the highway as I was passing through New Orleans this weekend to visit family. I thought about Pat Andre and Regmar while here and see why they call this state home.It has its own unique style with very beautiful areas but I also caught glimpses that still displayed signs of hurricane Katrinas wrath that hold many memories of despair I'm sure each time they're looked upon. Thanks for viewing and hope you've enjoyed.

Nice Capture Eileen.
You took this pic crossing the Bonne Carre Spillway area on I-10 along Lake Pontchartrain. If you'd pass this area two months ago you would have seen White Water Rapids running through this image. This is part of the Spillway area from the Mississippi River which was opened when the river became to high.
I am working a Seismic 3-D job in this very area as we speak.

I like the cloudy atmosphere. Colors, details and composition are nice. Very small world.

Nice Image and I like how E.J. can pinpoint exactly where this is. I like the old truss briges and you can see them in Florida as well. YOu did a fine job Eileen and I hope you did enjoy your visit with your family. sandi♥

Such a poignant photo then. It is quite a nice image and almost looks like a painting. A gray day that you captured well.

I was going to tell you not to forget about Frogz (EJ) but he beat me to it. Great shot and I think I saw you in a vehicle from EJ's aerial photo. Great shot of the bridge and it does look like a painting. I think this song fits perfectly.
