This image was created very early in the morning. The lighting is at it's best then and the red podwered dust has not been kicked up by tourists driving their automobiles through the area.
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
Great idea and execution. I also like the early morning angle of the sun, It leaves you with the long shadows and better color than it can become later in the day when the sun bleaches everything.
Bob another winner! I like the framing of this picture too, it reveals more of the story of the scene than the photo itself can tell. Nicely done. 10 from me, but only because 11 wasn't available.
I'm really into goth rock and new wave. My favorite band is The Birthday Massacre. The guy in my avatar is, in fact, a guy. His name is Mana from the band Malice Mizer.
Now you've gone and done it. You made me homesick. Love this countryside. I used to live near there. Wonderful picture - and you've done a great job framing it. High marks from me.
This has so much style! The format with the border and the sand etc...You are truly an artist! And again, the colours you captured..wow!! andthe tree on the left is a perfect 'border"...very nice indeed!
Bob, this one is definitly first rate. The concept, framing and total execution are fantasic! I think instead of the tourism poster this one would be hard to keep in stock as a postcard...then it could travel all around the world! :)
Beautiful photography and skillful masking but I think that heavy double border takes a little away from the feel of the image as a whole. Something lighter and not black, perhaps.
The name ChuPat is derived from my nickname Chuck and my wife of 34 years name Patti. Her photography will appear on Caedes as well from time to time. I consider myself an advanced amature not anyway close to being a professional. I have just taken photography more seriously since I have switched to digital. My profession has always been associated with pohtography in one way or another. Any criticism I receive will be well appreciated.
