My first still life image, Candy Dish, had such wonderful inputs that I dare to upload another one. This image was created about four hours after my "Candy Dish' image. After doing about six different images and not being happy with most of them I began to break down the set. Just then my wife entered the room and announced that it was tea time. I was struck with this idea and used the china for three more images, This one I feel was the best composition of the three. No tea break that day but the results,I feel, was worth it.

Absolutely! This is another fine photo. Again, the sepia is so soft and warming. The tea set is lovely and I like the chair in the background. Looks like a comfortable place to sit and drink your tea.

Horray for tea time. This is great and I am so glad that I can see the chair more in this image.

I agree with the others. I really like the monochromatic color theme here - kind of the "good old days" feeling to the thing. Nice work.

Agree with Pierre. I like the chair in this one even better. ;) Think I'll have a sit.

I like the vertical in this image. It balances out the rest of the image, and anchors it. It also gives the image some body so that it's not just warm sepeic colors. Great job.

I quite like the colors in this Bob. I don't know how you pull off the subtle color, the perfectly matched matte ... yet show the warm glow of the sunlight. Lovely.

Placement of shapes in this is really superior. The chair in the background adds depth and balance, but in complete harmony with the main subjects in the foreground. Wonderful control of the lighting and arrangement of pbjects to create this feeling of depth.

My background is fine art and most painted still lifes bore me to tears. This one is quite nice, even elegant.
