I came upon this mountain stream just as the sun was rising. The color of the water was hypnotic. I had time to capture two images and then the light was gone. This is one of my all time favorites.

Well, June took the words out of my mouth, so I'll just have to say that this is indeed beautiful and not hard to understand why it is one of your favorites...great capture of a special moment.:Pat.

Amazing color in the stream, as everyone's already said (I'll steal their words anyway). No real complaints here. That is, unless you count that the foliage up top isn't perfect... <:

That yellow water running between the greens and red on either bank is fascinating. Are you sure the colour came from the sun, it wasn’t a bunch of cows upstream? :-)
It’s truly lovely, I can almost hear the water babbling over the rocks.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

Have never seen water this color out there...very rare capture to get light on the water this way. Be there!

Brilliant capture...but I would have touched up that dust and stuff in the image. It looks like you either scanned it or your lens was dirty ;)

Robert I have not seen this one before..and its just fantastic. The glimmering gold and the way the green plants on the right seem to melt right into it...perfect image! and further down the stream there is that sun gold again..its so very awe inspiring...I imagine it sounded just wonderful!!

As golden as the colours presented. I'm not a big fan of milky water but this one I quite like.
