That is "jaw-dropping" beautiful scenery. Your photo really captures the colors and textures. One question, what is the scale of what we're viewing?

Wonderful colours, textures, sculptures and composition Bob. I still like the abstract nature of the canyon shots. It looks like it might have been taken from inside a cave looking out but the word canyon suggests otherwise.

PS you can keep them coming until I say stop:-)

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

This image looks like it's alive with motion ... well done Bob. You must have been so excited at the prospect of the shot and more so in seeing the final product. Wonderful.

g'day fotobob and Cameraannie,

you give me a shot like this and my open mind to google and the first thing i do is "google" ...below is an excerpt from a website for those interested...and may the Navajo Nation kept this safe from man's development forever !

You enjoy a scenic ride to the canyon where the guide explains geology, cultural history and modern issues. Upon arrival at the site you will step into the desert and enter an amazing fantasy world in stone. For photographers, with proper exposures, you can bring out the best in your own creativity. For non-photographers there is a magical new world to explore and immerse yourself in. The colors are rich and deep in the morning and afternoon, and the famous light beams occur mid-day during the April to September. If you don't know the best time to take your tour, just drop us a note and we'll help you decide.

Return visitors should note that the road to the Canyon has been gated by the Navajo Nation; only authorized tour guides are permitted to enter. Antelope Canyon Tours is in good standing with the Navajo Nation.

is this real? :) well, it's another proof of nature's everlasting perfection. i have all the praise for the lightning in the image, the angle is perfect and the shades are spectacular.. all those darkness contrasts make this image astonishing! and they make amazing shadows and forms... i would truly love to visit that place.. if it looks stunning on this image, i can imagine it'll be a breathtaking experience...

i have checked the whole series out, this is my favourite.. but the other images are superb as well! thank you for sharing them with us! enjoy your day :)

Keep them coming!!! I would love to see these in person. I have one of a beam of light shining down, but it is small, so doesn't fully fit the screen. One of these days I need to play with it a bit more to make it a true background

Hi again Bob. These Antelope Canyon shots are just so amazing that I keep coming back time after time to ee them again. You did a perfect job on them, and the clear, crisp images without grain or noise are just astounding. These images are truly peerless, and I cannot stress that enought. The shapes and lines accented by the lighting and rich colors make this image jump right out of my monitor. Damn!
