My talented wife, Annie, captured this image as we stopped to look at our maps. This is the first time that Cameraannie and I ventured into this canyon. A beautiful canyon where we found three magnificent waterfalls. The entrance was covered with these wildflowers. The other end of the canyon still had waist deep snow blocking our attempt to photograph one of the falls. We will be returning on the 12 of July for another attempt to capture more images of the Treasure falls. The strange color of the sky plus the distant haze was caused by a forest fire in Arizona nearly 300 miles away.

Hello Robert, its so very good to see a photo of yours here. I've been very ill with a bad cough..but I do check in caedes when I can. This photo is glorious due to the burnt orange of those flowers..that is just awe inspiring. What a most perfect scene. Its wonderful that yu can be out and about as you can so you and Annie can capture these pictures for all eternity. I've missed your lovely photos a lot...keep 'em coming now...hugs from me to you!!

Going barefoot is the gentlest way of walking, and can symbolize a way of living. It's the feeling of enjoyment beneath our toes...it removes the barrier between us and nature...(AdeleCoombs,Barefoot Dreaming)

I'm more likely to lock it in 4 wheel drive and take that road less traveled than that small highway above. I like the sweeping view of the trail through the wilflowers toward the distant mountain. Good one Annie.

That title really fires the imagination up, watch out for the posse:-)
That track meandering through the flowers looks real inviting. Your vegetation is so different to ours, it makes your photos so much more interesting for me.

Very nice. I feel like I should be riding a horse down this trail singing an old western song. What a beautiful capture. I can't wait to see your next photo!
