Saw both images in the VB. This is a '10' in my opinion. Great idea with the color extraction and the framing is excellent. Terrific post work.

Magnificent!! The B&W contrasting with the color and beauty of the flower is really some artistic touch, very beautiful, great rework!!

Hi Ian....

Wow...this rose is strikingly beautiful friend....the most beautiful red I have ever seen...I personally have a terrible time with reds...they never maintain their color..for me.. that is...so I hardly ever try for one...on occasion...well...maybe! ;o)

The background..in this case is very complimentary to the flower...as it allows the color red to be fully expressed!! ;o) The clarity is so great...every detail is seen as perfect...in my opinion...Yeah!

Very good work Ian....

Now then...I would like to thank you graciously... for all the many visits you have made to my house...I am deeply grateful for each and everyone...terribly sorry...I did not get back to you with my personal thank you...just can't seem to catch up...so sorry...I will try harder...OK?

Are you joining the UK gathering? If so...hope you have a ball..just think...all those Americans in your 'own backyard'...Lol ;o)

Sorry I can't be there...

See you on your next visit Ian...

Marilyn

P.S. Incidentally Ian...black and red have always been stunning!!!
