very unusual subject matter - nice texture. did you think about ramping up the blue in the sky background for some colour contrast?

I quite like this one, and though I think philUK has a point, I actually like the quiet sky as it accentuates the texture on the sphere.

I adjusted colors mainly to bring out the rust colors. the sky was fairly overcast, and I didn't want to stretch the colors too far to make the sky look bolder.
