One of my older works. I was kindly given the permission to use the tree from Arizona Mesquite Sunset (thanks Joel). I was trying to make a psychedelic atmosphere with many layers (again..I just can't get rid of my bad habit to stack large amounts of layers to create one simple picture).

Okey... it looks quite confusing. I didn't try to make it look so messy. I made the borders uneven because it looked weird when I first tried to use this as a wallpaper with even borders because some of the lower edge of every wallpaper is always cut off (or just under the toolbarorwhateveritis). Now the borders look even when used as wallpaper. Hope it works with you..

For some reason I really like this. The colors the detail of the tree yet the splattered look of the blueish white stains. It's a really almost lost in a blurry paradise kinda scene. Overall I think its one of my favourites and definatly one of the most unique. Great Job!

I thought I'd make a clever comment but instead I found myself just sitting and waching your picture. That what it does to people.

I really like it!

While you may have the dock there in OS X if you like (we don't have the toolbar thing there) For some reason it's the default but I never do. I prefer the right side atm. Never mind. I prefer the uneven borders anyway. I'm uncomfortable with too much symmetry (oddly enough since most of my manipulations are very symmetrical...)

I must say I quite like the atmosphere here. Call it psychedelic or what ever. It's cool and rather unique. I must say your bad habit turns out rather handy in this case too. The textures are great and the balance in the composition plus the great touch of mixing a touch of warm colors among predominantly cold hues makes it a very strong piece.
