Ok.. so when I saw that this dream contest ahd started I just had to open my paint shop pro and start playing around even though I'm quite busy.. Well it was first time I did anything in a long time so the result is quite messy. Before I started I thought I would create my first attempt to the contest right away but I'm not satisfied with this at all so I'll just post it normally and start over with another idea. It's kinda full of things and all and maybe it's not very easy to look at. You just have to seach through it with time :P Those borders are quite harsh aren't they :(

Yay, some work from you! I like this, and I do agree with what you said about it being rather busy. I don't mind the borders at all though. This image has a lot of potential...Kep it up.

I find your images so beautiful and cannot fathom why you would sound so negative about them in your description. The color combined with the wonderful organic shapes and textures creates this awesome meshing of nature and man-made. Also, the borders aren't problematic to me. They echo the light grid you've placed over parts of the image. If I created something like this, I would definitely feel more accomplished as an artist. The c-index should be in the 90's.
