I didn't need to do much to this one. Just changed the colours a bit and some bery subtle things. In a way very out-of-this-world. I was listening to Sigur Rós while doing this. I'll upload some similar stuff in the near future.

A stirring macro shot. The alternating points of focus caused by your subject's warped appearance has good splash of interest. The cool colours are very seasonal too.

It's better to have a living dog, than a dead lion.

This is what I like about macro shots. It's a visit to a strange and profoundly different world awaiting us just around the proverbial corner. Looking good here. It's lichen, isn't it? Nice touch with the colors. That is a part where I usually fall short in my own macros. I try to be as "natural" as I can be and that is not really a good thing in the long run. It's always better to play around and see what happens when you tweak random (or not so random) parameters just for the hell of it (you might know what you do but I rarely do... ^_^)

GREAT STUFF. The depth of field and objects moving through that narrow plane make this an interesting viewing. Ideally, the light would look less synthetic and more moonlike, to capture the ideas in my head when I first saw your image - but I love it !!

Hard work never killed anybody, but why take a chance?
