I was part of the "integrated volume testing" yesterday at the refurbished station which involved passing through the facilities several times. Built in 1868 here is a link http://www.stpancras.com/content.asp?ContentId=5 This will be the new "Eurostar" terminal from November 14th. This picture was taken at last knockings.

Excellent lines in this one Paul - very good composition! ...and look how clean it all looks - they made an excellent job of refurbishing it!

...and thanks for the link to the history - very interesting!

I went to St Pancras on Saturday and spent a while trying to work out how to photograph it. And being overwhelmed by such a beautiful and elegant piece of British civil engineering - those terms don't often get put together. This is the shot I would like to have taken. You've really captured the excitement and atmosphere of the place Paul. I'm going back this weekend and hope to work out some good shots, but thanks for the cues! You've come up with a great solution here, congratulations.

Please bear with me if I don't comment as much as I have been - I'm having to scale back. Only until they introduce the 30 hour day of course ;-)
