b&w night time shot of interior of one of Des Moines, IA many skywalks in the downtown area. (you can walk all over downtown through these 2nd floor hallways connecting the buildings.) (Kind of like an above ground people maze, hehe.) Title of the image comes from it's name of being a skywalk, and also reminded a bit of Star Wars with the tunnel perspective (Skywalker) Cheers, Gabe

I think the b&w really helps isolate the photo and underscores the bleakness of places like this. Kudos.

Yeah, I had taken one shot in color and then switched to b&w for a few shots. I do so like variances in b&w tints. I liked this shot for the diminishing perspective and the counterpoint tints. (black stripes in upper right and lower left, while the lower right and upper left have the whites supplied from the lighting)

Great perspective photo. Simple and clean lines. Sterile existence. Like the lighting, the symmetry, counterpoint, and the reflection in the glass. Well balanced and extremely effective in black & white. Great shot!

I would suggest seeing the movie: "Way Downtown" it is about four coworkers who bet a month's salary on who can stay inside the downtown's interlocking "plus 15" system the longest. It is filmed and based in Calgary (where I live) because in calgary, almost every single office building can be accessed during business hours, and you could get from NE downtown to SW downtown without ever going outside. This picture brings me right dowtown in my home city Calgary... I have traversed our pls fifteen system many a time. Excellent originality and attention to subtelty. I like your daring artistic adventurousness.

This image is depressing..
not that that is a bad thing. For the image to have an actual effect on me it means the image has succeeded. I think it highlights modern society's impersonal, bland flavor. Excellent shot.. true art! 10/10

Having worked with oil paint in canvas, this photo makes my feelings rattle and i can see it worked out in 2D. it gives me sense of location i really enjoy looking at this composition.
