Nice shot, Gabi, and even though I have a phobia about bugs I don't for some unknown reason put dragonflies in that category and therefore really like this image. High marks and kudos. :)

I think this image has a lower rating due to the blurry background. I know you were trying to capture the dragonfly, but the lack of clarity detracts from the overall photo. Please don't be offended, but the rating is probably quite accurate. It's at least in the 60's.

well, its a macro shot, I think it would be impossible to capture the background and foreground. Unless you used an unrealistic large depth of field, or tried to merge 2 images somehow. But if you were able to see the water, I think the attention would be taken from the dragonfly itself.

The easiest way to miss a shot is to not venture far enough to find it.
