There was a huge hailstorm not long after this pic was taken. The sun was setting but being my mom and i are cloud watchers, we knew a storm was coming. Taken in Southwest, Missouri.

Our weather pattern's have gone awry these past few years!...I have never known such a mix up over here..even our winter's are not as severe as once was...and our summer's are 'wetter'!

Mammatus usually signal either the beginning or the end of a storm here. What I'm marveling at is that single crepuscular ray blank slashing across your photo. It's hard to discern its source beyond those horizon line clouds.
