I had to bring in some groceries and waited till nightfall to avoid the rain humid day it was. Anyways I saw this whIle I was out there and grabbed my camera. Afterwards I asked my mom what I should call it and thus "the eye of the sky", (no relation to the Alan parsons project of the eighties) was born. Funny to think the moon as the eye and not the sun. But the moon you can enjoy without it burning your retinas. As far as fantastic clarity. It was just as fast as a sunset. I got what I could capture in the moment. The clouds and the bottom were almost surreal and they were real. Smokey from that humidity.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
