This lake is located near the Bentonville and Rogers area of Arkansas. It's in the northwest corner of the state. Home of walmart but more importantly home of beautiful scenery! Taken summer 2012
I like how you used to ramp and how it terminates at the lake. Funny how you used polar opposite references. Walmart = cheap and fake and the area of your photo = beautiful and priceless.
I drove right through there (looping down from Pittsburg Kansas to Oklahoma's Lake Eucha Park, east to Bentonville, turning left on N. Walton Blvd. and back north) as Katrina was hitting the Gulf Coast, in September of 2005. Everything was as lush and beautiful as you say and show but there weren't any fall colors as yet. Here they complement the rocks and coloring on the near shore.
