Good title, Marisa...the color and design does remind me of those spinning tops kids used to play with...you definitely left 'no holds barred' on this one:)
It reminds me of many of the shirts that were popular when I was a kid, throughout the 1960's, including a number of ones I tie-dyed myself (my sister and I actually had a little business--not financially successful--making them). Alex (GomekFlorida) brought this one to my attention because I had previously mentioned growing up in the 50's and 60's... but, y'know, it's all subjective. On the way home from out-of-town today, I was in a gas station to pay my bill and the gentleman in front of me, about my age, was discussing with the young cashier how cool it was in the store as opposed to the heat outside (in frozen North Dakota?!?!). He finally turned to me and asked if I thought it was cool. I couldn't let it go... with a straight face I said "I haven't been cool since the 60's" (but that's just because I wasn't wearing your artwork, Marisa). I left them both laughing.
