Catalina is an island approx 26 miles off the coast of Los Angeles. I went to a Boy Scout camp on the island ( Emerald Bay) as an adult leader for a week in August. One evening the fog came rolling in. This is what I got.

I remember it well from the days I lived in California Garrett. I never hear this song that I don't recall Catalina. I like the photo.

Great ocean scene Garrett! I never made it to Catalina when I lived in S. CA. I went to the beachs all the time but not there. The fog surprises me. I never associated fog with S.Ca. I probably don't remember it. Anyway, thanks for the shot! Really like it! Allen

Nice image, Garrett. A great example of how lighting affects colors. My guess, on a bright clear day, colors would be totally different. The lighting really works for this image, as it adds drama to it.

Can you paint with all the colors of the wind.
This is outstanding love the different deep blues that you have captured.
