I captured this Mule Deer as she was moving
off into the brush. When they say California
is tinder dry right now, this is what they
mean. This is why the southern Calif fires
move so fast and burn so many acres.
Boy, it would be great if you got lots of rain, we had lots this summer. Magnificent action capture of this precious deer Garrett, I love animal shots.
A flick of the ears, a twitch of the tail, a couple of leaps and they disappear. You did good to get this in such clarity Garrett. The fires are really a tragedy. It does look very dry.
Nice Garrett. This image speaks a lot for the conditions humans and animals in So. Calif. are living with at the moment. All it takes is a lit cigarette out the window, or some fool setting a fire to create the tragedy that has happened there.
A fine capture of the Deer running through the burnt brush, Garrett. We had a lot of forest fires back in June with the severe drought. Now after months of rain the problem isn't quite as bad. Great post
She IS a beauty. It may be dry but I see a few blooms in there. I really enjoy how the grasses compliment her tones. Interesting too, how they differ on either side. A beautiful photo. Saved.
Garrett, Looks really dry to me. Usually we are the same this time of year. We have more rain in this area than I can remember, from previous years.Love the Mule deer capture.
