I finally managed to make it back to my favorit spot for the first time this fall. Our winter migrants really haven't begun to show up yet. I did see this Wood Duck though.

Stunning looking bird it is to me one of the most stunning looking duck in the world next to mandarin duck.The colours are beautiful and you captured this duck a 100%.Also i love the silver in the lake and nice framing too.

Garrett,this is one amazing shot.My favorite duck,hands down. I see these along the mill race but can never get close enough for a good shot with my little camera. Fantastic job.

nice shot. Good camera angle, focus is right on the duck with nothing in the background to distract. All attention goes to exactly where it should. You even got the reflection in. :)
