We went to Mammoth Lakes this past weekend. While we were there we took a short hike to Emeral Lake. It began snowing shortly before our hike and continued on through the night. We found this stream along the trail. Our elevation was about 9,000 feet.

A natural beauty wonderfully composed. I enjoy the diagonal of the stream. As well as the atmosphere of early seasonal changes beginning.

Wow this is a stunning looking photography and the stream running through the centre gives the shot that special touch.Love the reflections of snow in the water and the light in this shot is spot on.Plus the branches hanging over the front make a lovely frame work to the shot .

Unspoiled scenes like this are among my favorites Garrett. I thought I was going to see a bird dusting when I saw the title.
