The Brown Towhee is a very commom bird of the Chapparral plant community. The Chapparral plant community is found in only two places in the world, California and Italy. Both locations share the same latitude. Brown Towhees have a very distinctive call that makes them easy to identify even before they have been seen. They will mix with White Crown Sparrows and House finches when feeding.

It is easy to see why the birds are your fine feathered friends Garrett. Excellent clarity. I like the way it has its head cocked.
