A treat to see one perched. Again, details and natural colors are a pleasure. I'm not sure if the soft surroundings are fog, smoke or clouds trying to clear, but I think it compliments the bird very well.
This is one stunning looking photography i love the metallic green colours in the birds body and the light in the birds eye.Plus the light and background is a 100%,well done and thanks for sharing.
A lovely shot, very well composed, and creatively presented in these soft muted colours. These are all major points. One relatively minor point is a technical issue: the angle of the light and the treatment of the shot has resulted in purplish mis-coloration of part of the bird's beak and the branch it is perched on. This can be corrected in Photoshop by adding another layer on top of it, changing the blend mode to "Colour" and painting over the affected areas with neutral grey set at about 50% opacity. After treatment in this way, I would recommend this shot for the permanent gallery.
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
