Last week I shared the Spotted Towhee with you. This week the California Towhee. Both are very common in southern California. Though you do see the California Towhee more frequently. Not quite as colorful but still very cool. While Californians seem to be noted for their flambouyance, our birds can be very subtle.

Maybe some of the Californians should learn from the birds Garrett. All the focus is right where it needs to be. Superb.
