I was not sure if this was a parent/child relationship or not. What happened was the young bird was sitting on the log and the adult flew down with a salmon. The young bird immediately lunged at the salmon as if it was expected. They eventually calmed down. Can't we all just get along.......

Love the action and details. Amazing for me to witness the adult/juvenile interaction. Brings home to me how instinct trumps sense at times. Humans should take a lesson. lol A scene I have never witnessed with Eagles, saved to enjoy more.
